and it makes a great highlight color too!

Hard Candy Walk the Line Eye Liner, LICORICE- Sparkling Black $6.00
this is a gorgeous black liquid eyeliner with holographic glitter
i would absolutle love this eyelibner if it didnt burn my eyes
i dont know if anyone else has this problem but i cant wear it because if how bad its burns my eyes, i wish i didnt though its amazing eyeliner, i feel like i wasted 6 dollars on it =[

Hard Candy Plumping Serum, Girl Next Door - Pink $6.00
i love this, its very sheer when it goes on your lips, but it doesnt plump your lips, bu i dont mind i only bought it cause of the color, but its almost like mint lipgloss on your lips, thats what it feels like, i would highly recomend this, its very pretty for a natural look

Hard Candy Sheer Envy Cosmetic Primer $8.00
this is pretty great, it makes my foundation saty on way longer than it would have if i didnt wear this, and its not greasey or oily, which is great. the only thing is i dont wear foundation that much (it makes my face feel dirty. lol) so i wear it on my cheeks under my blush, which is just as great

its a very light sheer pink once applied to the lips, but its very shiny and glittery
its not sticky, but thick, you dont have to apply alot or even that often
its an amazing product, but it smeels like almonds almost, its weird, but not bad
and the packaging is adorable

lolita goth or loli goth
in japan it is known as gosurori, which means “goth-loli”
this is a mixture of goth and lolita fashions
The origins of the Japanese Gothic style can be traced back to the English New Wave Movement during the 1980s: however, the Japanese Gothic scene is fundamentally different from the Gothic subcultures of the west.

This Gothic Fashion has been adopted into the Lolita fashion through the use of darker make up, clothing, and themes in the design. Unlike other Lolita Styles, in Gothic Lolita darker colors are used for makeup. Red lipstick and smoky or neatly defined eyes, created using black eyeliner, are typical styles.
The Gothic Lolita makeup is not as heavy or dramatic as the Western Gothic counterparts. Newer makeup styles emphasize lighter colors but still retain the heavy eye makeup. Though gothic style make-up is associated with a white powdered face, you will almost never see this on a gothic lolita.

The outfits themselves usually use dark color schemes like black, dark blues and purples; often with accents of white. As with western gothic subculture, cross jewelry and other religious symbolsare also used to accessorize the gothic Lolita look. Other accessories, like bags and purses, are often in uncommon shapes like bats, coffins, and crucifixes.

Like many other Lolita fashions, the Japanese visual kei movement was responsible for helping to introduce and popularize the Gothic Lolita style. One artist in particular, Mana, a Japanese musician and fashion-designer, is considered to be the major force behind the popularization of the Gothic Lolita style, though he is not credited with creating it. Mana’s own Gothic Lolita fashion label, Moi-meme-Moitie, has grown to be very successful. To describe the designs of his new label, he encouraged the use of the terms Elegant Gothic Lolita (EGL) and Elegant Gothic Aristocrat (EGA)

i LOVE Angel Taylor right now

Lolita <3
ok so the first real big topic im going to be talking about is Lolita fashion. XD
this post will just be the basics about the fashion
and a little history about it
in later posts, in the next few days =]
Lolita fashion is a fashion subcuture originating in Japanthat is primarily influenced by Victoria clothing as well as costumes from the Rococo period-Rococo (less commonly roccoco) is a style of 18th century French art and Interior desgin.
they have made this a unique style because they have added eliments of goh and other original lemts of design in to their fashion.
their are severa different sub styles through out Lolita fashion and has created a devoted subculture in Japan.
The Lolita look consists primarily of a knee length skirt or dress, headdress, blouse, petticoat, knee high socks or stockings and rocking horse or high heel/platform shoes
Although the origin of Lolita fashion is unclear, it is likely the movement started in the late 1970s when famous labels including Pink House, Milk and Angelic Pink began selling clothes that would be considered “Lolita” by today’s standards.
In the 1990’s bands like Malice Mizer and other Visual Kei bands got lolita better reognized from the bands getting popular.
Today, Lolita fashion has grown so much in popularity that it can be found even in department stores in Japan. Today many young people wear the fashion all around the world.
Lolita fashion is often worn by teens, most followers of the style do not consider it overtly sexual. Adherents present themselves as Victorian children or baby dolls and prefer to look “cute” rather than “sexy”. Most Lolitas agree that the term ‘Lolita’ doesn’t necessarily have anything to do with sex at all. The usage of the word may also be considered wasei-eigo(Made-in-Japan English). The irony of the name, Lolita, is that the actual fashion was created to fight the growing exposure of the body and skin in today’s clothing, specifically in regards young women. Lolita fashion can be even considered a movement where girls ranging from pre-teens to late 20’s fight the current fashion with modesty. It allows a girl to feel young, cute, beautiful or off- limits, depending on which type of Lolita a girl chooses to be. As mentioned above the clothing is based on Victorian styles and requires quality material. There are many ‘Lolita’ clothing stores around the world and on the internet, but because of the multiple piece designs, the material used and the fact that it is an unconventional fashion, clothing and accessories are very expensive. One outfit can cost about $300. Because of the cost issue, many girls take it upon themselves to sew their own dresses and make accessories as a hobby. The public in general assume that girls who dress in Lolita are perfect in almost every respect and follow a Lolita ‘lifestyle’ of baking and knitting. Although some do choose to follow a strict Lolita lifestyle, there are others who just enjoy dressing up. For the majority of Lolita, dressing in the fashion doesn’t mean changing personalities and habits, it may simply be a preference of style or a statement for modesty. Japanese culture places a higher value upon extremely youthful appearance and behavior than Western, and some adult women buy large amounts of products, such as Hello Kitty goods, that are typically marketed only to children in the West. Sweet Lolita is perhaps a more visible extension of this phenomenon.

Outside of Japan, the Lolita fashion is limited. Lolita, along with cosplay and other Japanese cultural phenomena, can sometimes be seen at concerts and anime conventions throughout North America (see Anime North), the UK, Germany, Australia, Mexico, New Zealand, Brazil, Argentina, France, Russia, and the Netherlands. The style is not mass marketed outside of Japan, though small stores have emerged, including “One Day in Paradise” in central Melbourne. Baby, The Stars Shine Bright has a store in Paris and opened another in San Francisco in August 2009.

Major brands, such as Metamorphose temps de fille, Angelic Pretty, h. Naoto, Baby, The Stars Shine Bright and Moi-même-Moitié have recently shipped goods to the international market. This is still not widespread, as many of the clothes produced by non-Japanese designers are not accepted by the Lolita community for being inaccurate in portraying the style as related to the British ‘goth’ or French maid look, and not as high-quality as the expensive Japanese brand clothes. Lolita magazines are widely available for purchase on the internet and at Japanese bookstores, which also deal in anime and manga. However, there is a growing group of dedicated western Lolita fans who wear Lolita clothing on a semi-regular basis, and the Gothic and Lolita Bible now has an American version which not only features translated content from the original magazine but also content from a small but growing group of western Lolita designers from around the world such as Candy Violet, In the Starlight, Blasphemina’s Closet, and Sweet Rococo. Celebrity author Novala Takemoto, who is an important figure within Lolita culture and was once involved with Baby, the Stars Shine Bright, traveled to America in 2006 and remarked at a panel on the resourcefulness of western Lolitas, who often make or adapt their own clothing.
